MNCU Network Dialogue 2024

The MNCU, in partnership with the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), which holds the UNESCO Chair on Harnessing Innovations in Technology to Support Teachers and Quality Learning, hosted the annual MNCU Network Dialogue 2024. The event took place on 8 August 2024 in Bukit, Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

The hybrid dialogue drew a global audience of educators, policymakers, experts, and youth from 17 countries to examine the vital intersection of education, technology, and innovation.

The event showcased innovative practices and initiatives from Malaysia, UNESCO, and their international partners. The dialogue, which covered a wide range of fields including education, science, social sciences, culture and communication, aimed to demonstrate how these sectors contribute to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

The dialogue was inaugurated by H.E. Fadhlina Sidek, the president of MNCU. Her keynote address set an optimistic tone for the day, emphasising the urgent need for innovative educational approaches, empathy, and mental health support, especially in the aftermath of recent challenges, to Build Forward Differently.
