Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO is pleased to announce that the application for 2023 UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for Creative Economy is now open.
The purpose of the Prize is to recognize and reward innovative projects or programmes undertaken by an individual, institution, entity, or non-governmental organization to promote entrepreneurship in the creative economy by young people starting from the age of 16. The creative economy includes sectors such as cinema/audio-visual, design, media arts, music, performing arts, publishing, and visual arts.
Nominations will be submitted, in English or French, by 30 January 2023 at the latest (Paris time, UTC+2) Nomination will be done via the National Commission for UNESCO, upon approval.
To acquire the letter of endorsement from the Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO, nominators should email us with all the required information and documents to copy to hazlan.hamzah@moe.gov.my, before 25 January 2023. Please find the template of the nomination form for your reference here.
