Permanent Sub-Committee For Communication is one of the permanent sub-committees in Malaysian National Commisison for UNESCO (MNCU). The role of this Permanent Sub-Committee is to help MNCU to develop and implement UNESCO’s policies, knowledge and strategies regarding information and communications technologies (ICT) in Malaysia. Secretary General Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia is the Chairman of Permanent Sub-Committee for Communication.

1. Implementing knowledge society plan for sustainable development goals (SGD);
2. Promoting and widening knowledge and information to enhance knowledge society;
3. Developing and implementing plans and strategies towards information and communications technologies (ICT) usage; and
4. Promoting dan supporting meaningful media environments.
