Malaysia and UNESCO Meet Virtually to Review Projects Supported through Malaysia-UNESCO Cooperation Programme – Malaysia Funds-in-Trust (MUCP-MFIT)
A half-day meeting was held virtually on November 3, 2020 to review the status of 3 on-going projects and the 3 newly ended projects supported under Malaysia-UNESCO Cooperation Programme – Malaysia Funds-in-Trust (MUCP-MFIT).
The 9th MUCP/MFIT Steering Committee Meeting was co-chaired by YBhg. Datuk Yusran Shah bin Mohd Yusof, Vice President, Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO (NATCOM) and representative from UNESCO, Prof. Shahbaz Khan, Director of UNESCO Jakarta. The composition of the Steering Committee includes Mr Shigeru Aoyagi, Director of UNESCO Bangkok, Mr. Mohammad Sanusi bin Abdul Karim (Secretary General, Malaysian NATCOM). The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ahmadul Mokhtar bin Mohd Hayani (Malaysian NATCOM), Ms Jessica Jeavons (UNESCO Headquarters), Mr Salvatore Mineo (UNESCO Headquarters) and Mr. Khairol Hazlan Hamzah (UNESCO Jakarta) while representative from the Permanent Delegation of Malaysia to UNESCO and project officers from the UNESCO Offices were connected via Teams.
