UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for Creative Economy

Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO  is pleased to announce that the application for 2021 UNESCO-Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize for Creative Economy is now open.

The purpose of the Prize is to recognize and reward innovative projects or programmes undertaken by an individual, institution, entity, or non-governmental organization to promote entrepreneurship in the creative economy by young people starting from the age of 16. The creative economy includes sectors such as cinema/audio-visual, design, media arts, music, performing arts, publishing, and visual arts

Nominations must be submitted, in English or French, by midnight on 21 July 2021 at thé latest (Paris time, UTC+2) through   https://en.unesco.org/creativity/news/call-nomination-unesco-bangladesh-bangabandhu-sheikhNo self-nomination is allowed. 

To acquire the letter of endorsement from the Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO, nominators should email us with all the required information and documents to skumbhakpm@gmail.com, with a copy to hazlan.hamzah@moe.gov.my, 7 working days before the proposed submission to the secretariat.
